To veron: thanks for your words of encouragement, but in life, no one likes to be left behind. Yes you are already happy because you did your best, no matter what the results are. But what if, you worked so hard but the results came back so different? Will you not be curious to know why that happened? Is it based on luck then? Everything comes with hard work, but then how can one rest when you know that you SHOULD and COULD have gotten that result? Life isn't fair, and luck comes into play sometimes. However, in uni, it's not about being fair/lucky. It's determination+hard work+luck that makes it happen. I say to myself, NUS is not a place for us, from neighbourhood jcs. the transition between jc and uni is really too big for me to take, because we are fighting against students from top jcs. x Anyway, i can only try to change whatever i can, the rest is all up to god to provide. it's so demoralising making it so far, yet not reaching for the final step. Its the final stage before we make our mark in the outside world. I have nothing to say alry, i am just going to work my very hardest. |
